GEORGE A. WEST, 82 LAKELAND, Fla. - George A. West, 82, former Rockford, Ill., resident passed away March 7, 2010, in Lakeland. George was a long-term member of the Rockford Ski Broncs Water Ski Club, known for his special saucer and ladder act for many years. Married Phyllis Cheeseman on June 18, 1949, in Shannon, Ill. Survived by wife, Phyllis; sons, Steven (Sharon) and Randy (Lucy), both of Florida; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
